FAB’s mission is to be the leading provider of cost effective, flexible alternatives to in-house manufacturing of alternative fuel storage systems, electronic and pneumatic control systems, and flow control panels.

We are North America's largest provider of complete compressed gas fuel storage systems to the transit industry, and a leading provider of service and maintenance to OEMs, fleet operators and transit properties.

We also work with companies developing promising alternative fuel technologies to assist in bringing these technologies to market faster and more cost effectively.

FAB opened its Burlington, Ontario facility in 1996, and executed an agreement to become the exclusive supplier of complete compressed natural gas (CNG) fuel storage systems to Orion Bus Industries. Since then, we have delivered over 2,200 CNG systems to several major OEMs. FAB systems are in use in throughout the U.S and Canada, as well as Europe and Mexico.

In 2002, FAB designed a ready-to install LNG fuel storage module, and received orders for 64 LNG buses. We added service and maintenance capabilities for LNG powered vehicles and refueling facilities, and designed new CNG systems for articulated buses, street sweepers, and trash haulers. We developed our first hydrogen fuel storage systems, and were granted three patents for our CNG systems.

In 2001, FAB expanded its Anniston, Alabama production facilities, dramatically grew its flow & control systems division, established a permanent service & maintenance presence in New York/New Jersey, and solidified its relationship with its largest customer via a long-term, exclusive supplier agreement.

In 2000, FAB focused on expanding to additional alternative fuel applications including liquefied natural gas (LNG) and hydrogen/fuel cell.

In 1999, FAB opened its second production facility in Anniston, Alabama, and executed agreements with two additional OEMs.

In 1998, FAB contracted to supply complex flow and control panels used in CNG refueling stations. We have now expanded this line of business to include applications in many different industries.

In 1997, FAB formed a service and maintenance division to support OEMs, fleet operators and transit properties in the delivery and operation of buses and heavy-duty trucks, and construction and maintenance of refueling facilities. Since then, FAB has provided contract maintenance, and service support to numerous major transit properties, OEMs and fleet operators.
